Dear Younger Self....

​Dear Younger Self,

So many emotions as I am writing this letter. You have been through so much, and I am so… so… so… very sorry for this! I just wanted to let you know that despise everything that you have been through; and currently going through, everything will be just fine.


You are LOVED and very INTELLIGENT regardless of what you have been told. You have a Father named God and a friend named Jesus; who protects and cares for you very much! They are so powerful (like the wind) that you are not able to see them face-to-face yet, but one day you will:)


Hold on to the fact that you really are LOVED, SPECIAL, WANTED and NOT a mistake!. You have something in you that will be needed by others now and in the future. What is it you ask? Your Heart, Compassion, and wanting to make a Difference! Don’t let others(including family) take away your current Joy, Spirit, and Love for Others.


(Stop caring about what others think of you and start taking better care of yourself).


I noticed that you treat yourself how others have treated you (worthless) and that has to stop. Let's stop playing the “transcript” of others in the back of your mind; and BELIEVE that you are Beautiful, Wonderful, Image & Child of God. You are perfectly loved, regardless of what you are told.


Let’s break the generational curses of Addictions, Abuse, Negativity and Neglect! You said that you would never be like those, who were negative and gave you “tough love” but it will happen, It will happen because you never fully accepted God’s Love. Instead, the people who were supposed to love and care for you, did not understand the assignment, which as a result could leave you “cold” to a point.


Even with that being said; Jesus will not give up on you; and will continue to meet you where you are, until you are ready to experience all that he has to offer.


You haven’t quite sabotaged yourself yet but it’s near. You will experience harsh “life lessons” early, and receive betrayal on another level. These obstacles were meant to build you not destroy you! You have such a beautiful future awaiting, but part of the problem is your lack of self-love and worth.


People and circumstances do NOT define you; our Lord and Savior does. Please stop letting society, people, and circumstances “mold” you. You were meant for so much more!


Let go of the expectations of others(including family), and truly know who you are, and stop letting others distract or kill the fire within you! You may feel the burden of your current struggles; but you are not alone, what you are going through is required for the path of what you will become.


Put on the “Armor of God” daily my child, as you face things on life’s territory. It will get hard, and there will be many losses, but there will also be many blessings on top of BLESSINGS, once you are on (and stay on) the correct path.


You can’t change others, we can only change our responses and ourselves. We can’t fully depend on others; we can only fully depend on the Great I am!



I just wanted to say; regardless of where you are right now, all of the “life lessons” will be for your good, and for the good of others. So please, wonderful child of mine! Start to LOVE you, and accept the love and blessings to come:)
