Seeking release from the strongholds of the mind and the past; doing the inner work, but always end up, to what seems like the start. Lessons in the present, but too focused on the obstacles and future; so we repeat the tests of trials, and continue the conflict within.
Wounds are buried as deep as the loved ones who have lost their lives; some because of their own personal struggles, others because it was just their time. We become bitter instead of better; and our enemies triumph over the misery we created, the prison we stay in, because so much has happened, and a miracle is like holding one's breath. Our soul has died and we are now just living life on Neutral, Fear, Anger, Resentment instead of living life to the fullest. It does not happen overnight; our wounds must heal, and we must forgive ourselves and others. It's a journey to live at your full potential, not an overnight remedy, or a "3-keys-to-a better-you seminar." We are all different and not all "methods" or "keys" are one-size-fits-all. Work is required within, but some of us are too broken to even begin. The time wasted on the losses, pain, resentment, is time that could be used towards healing and moving forward. We all have our wars within; that has broken us down to a level we never imagined; but holding on to the pain and hurt, and giving up and numbing what should be healed, extends the sentence to the prison we have created, and the process of release starts within. -S.Q.S💞

Dear Messy Middle,
Peace be with you! For we have overcome the worst versions of ourselves, but we still have a lot of wounds and trauma that keeps us stagnant in certain areas of our lives. We are all well aware of the before and after scenario, but very few people talk about the "messy middle." There tends to be this jump from being a "hot mess" to a "triumphed" King or Queen, but only a handful of people discuss the messy middle version of themselves. True transformation is not so black and white; there are many moments of slipping back into old habits, behaviors, or mentality. Triggered by circumstances, or it is just a comfort and/or coping skill, that is safer to run to over trying something new and healthy. Outside looking in; this person who is in the messy middle stage of life, comes off like change is not in that person's future, and are doomed to one strongholds and addictions. That is why it's important to have a strong Spiritual Foundation; to keep fighting on our behalf when it doesn't seem like things will change or get better. Genuine change includes detours, relapse, and overall regression periods. Accept that; but let's not stay there or be defined by those periods. We are human; and some wounds take longer to heal from than others. So let's give ourselves grace, and give grace to others who are currently struggling in the messy middle instead of judging them. It's not an ideal spot to be in; but it is temporary, and this too shall pass! We are Loved... We are Wanted... We are Chosen... We are Warriors... We are children of the most high King! With Love, Your Sister in Christ |
