The people who were supposed to love us; didn't have the capacity or interest, so the trauma that we carry creates a bond with others, who are as broken as ourselves.


Why!?

Why couldn't we receive the love and support that every soul deserves?


Rage!

Episodes of anger towards those who didn't inflict the pain to begin with! Seeking validation from someone... Anyone... Who can relate to the wounds one operates from.


Time....

So much time has passed since the initial transgressions, that we only know how to operate in a certain way.


Trust!

What is that? Betrayal has been a huge companion, and scars have been the result of getting close.


Higher Power...

Easier said than done; putting one's faith in a being you can't see or touch! 


Misery...

That is our only option if one has no belief, trust or faith outside of ourselves.


Healing...

The beginning of what is required to shutdown the misery and victim mentality... A realization that we all need a Savior; who creates beautiful things from ashes. The ONLY one who can love us beyond any human being on earth. 



The only validation that is needed; realizing our identities in Christ alone shuts down every and all weapons formed against us, with our Father by our side we shall prosper, and our wounds will be a guide to save another soul who has been on a similar road.
