Grace
It can be so difficult to provide this; especially when others push buttons. Striving to be a reflection of Christ; but the former self wants to come out from time to time. It is when we face trials; our moral defects shine the brightest, and instead of shame or self-pity, we must become aware of these traits, and hand them over to Christ on a regular basis. Grace is a beautiful gift to give to others; as well as ourselves. Embracing the imperfections; and growing as a result. Letting go of what should be; and having faith in the present, and what will be. What a beautiful thing when grace is given and received. So instead of focusing on where we fall short in this area, let’s rejoice where we stand at this time. Giving room for growth… Enduring what was and is to come… Knowing that we are not alone! With Love, Your Sister in Christ:)

An ongoing battle of a fight within; hatred and resentment on another level...
The people who were supposed to love us; didn't have the capacity or interest, so the trauma that we carry creates a bond with others, who are as broken as ourselves. Why!? Why couldn't we receive the love and support that every soul deserves? Rage! Episodes of anger towards those who didn't inflict the pain to begin with! Seeking validation from someone... Anyone... Who can relate to the wounds one operates from. Time.... So much time has passed since the initial transgressions, that we only know how to operate in a certain way. Trust! What is that? Betrayal has been a huge companion, and scars have been the result of getting close. Higher Power... Easier said than done; putting one's faith in a being you can't see or touch! Misery... That is our only option if one has no belief, trust or faith outside of ourselves. Healing... The beginning of what is required to shutdown the misery and victim mentality... A realization that we all need a Savior; who creates beautiful things from ashes. The ONLY one who can love us beyond any human being on earth. The only validation that is needed; realizing our identities in Christ alone shuts down every and all weapons formed against us, with our Father by our side we shall prosper, and our wounds will be a guide to save another soul who has been on a similar road. Validation (Obstacle Warriors Vibez Blog) Dear Recovering Addict,
Each day we are given is a blessing; and each moment we abstain from our drug of choice is a VICTORY! Regardless of how many times we fall on this journey; the overall goal is to keep moving towards a life of SOBRIETY. People will put us in a box; and many will overlook the small victories over our addictions… Some will choose “tough love” when it comes to supporting us; but the results equals criticism and judgment. We can not focus or let others distract us from the progress we have made; because at the end of the day we are all different, and have chosen this lifestyle for varied reasons. Are these people better than us because they don’t have the same struggle? No! Do we continue the former path because our addiction/s can be an ongoing war? No! Can someone truly change their ways? Yes! We are not defined by the things we battle with; it is a part of our story but it does not define who we are, or who we will become! So keep moving forward WARRIOR; as we continue to heal, and no longer let our addiction/s and others dictate the beautiful future that is awaiting us. Sincerely, A Fellow Recovering Addict :) Now is the time to activate the gifts within to become the person we were meant to be all along.
The results sound tempting but require work within that makes one stop; and go back to what comforts, instead of stepping out and breaking the habits that have become our sabotaging cycles. Shut down the white noise that comes from naysayers who are too afraid to take the risks we are willing to make! Even if failure was the result; we still have more courage than the ones who discourage us, and find comfort in our shortcomings or faults. Realize my Kings and Queens that we were made to be set apart; and not to blend and be a part of a fallen world! We were created to be much more than all of us have settled for… All playing an important part; no job or task is too big or too small… Elevate my Brothers and Sisters; for the gifts we were blessed with were meant to bless others. Love and Support being the result of coming together no matter where we are; because at the end of the day we are to be REFLECTIONS of the Most High King, and anything less would be an absolute tragedy! - S.Q.S ( O.W.V Blog) Dear 2024,
New Year's Resolutions are a thing of the past; as I continue the path paved ahead. The only time I want to look back is to see how far I have come.... What has become evident is that we are NOT in control when it comes to life; and the things that we do have control over, we struggle with from time to time. It has become clear that I plan my steps but my heavenly Father establishes them; and at the end of the day his Will shall be done. Lessons that we haven't grasped on to becomes repeated (or a cycle) until the lesson is learned. Trials and Blessings; the things that are inevitable... My mentality and growth makes the difference on how these things are handled. So I guess I would like to say; I am blessed regardless of circumstances if I make it to 2024. Another Year, Month, Week, Day, Moment to continue the work that has started within me.... I look forward to meeting your acquaintance; and the new Opportunities, Blessings, and Trials that are attached to the year to come. -S.Q.S (Obstacle Warriors Vibez Blog) Flesh driven souls; on a mission to "numb out" the things that has caused trauma in our lives. Whether that be Food, Sex, Relationships, Work, Drugs.... Doing whatever is required to block out the life-changing events that has broken the pieces of who we are.
Our identity has subconsciously been defined by the trauma and betrayal; the things that inflicted "wound-sized" pain, but in time has become our comfort. Being told by people who have never experienced an ounce of our trials; that there is a God who saves and loves us, but did not prevent or protect us from what has transpired! How do you trust one who has the power to prevent the harsh things of this world; and say that he loves us? Some traumatic events were not in our control; and others we created all on our own. God never promised an "easy life..." In fact, he warned us that we would have trials and life would not be fair. He also gave us free will; which lead to the choices of others, as well as our own decisions, which created the trauma that currently needs to be healed. The Lord is with us; and is like a parent who can only do so much... If we as our older selves decide to continue a path that doesn't coexist with our Savior, we continue a downward spiral, and convince ourselves that only we or some other gods can save us! Life is hard either way; but letting Christ fully in to heal what has caused us harm, but has made us stronger in ways that would not have transpired if it weren't for those trials! That my brothers and sisters is the only way for the peace, love, and all the things we chase and desire, which could only be found through God our saving Grace, Father, and Jireh. - S.Q.S (Obstacle Warriors Vibez Blog) Why S.Q.S?
Dear Healing Soul,
Let me congratulate you for being courageous enough to stop "numbing" your pain.... Realizing that in the process you have hurt others close to you, as well as yourself before starting your journey to heal. Some people will forgive your transgressions; while others will be too wounded to see or accept this healing version of you. Let me tell you; it hurts like hell, when you discover this step in the process... But it's part of the journey as well, and you will grow at the end of the pain you encounter, from the bridges that were burned. Do not let this discourage you on this walk of healing; not everyone was meant to come along on this next chapter in your life, so forgive yourself as you are taking this step. Healing is not always beautiful; it can be messy at times. Healing includes setbacks and even relapses at times! Forgive yourself; because you are forgiven by the one who knows you the best! Please continue the journey ahead; despise the detours... These lessons were meant to create a version of you that you were meant to be all along. Let go of the pain; and give it to the Father as many times as you need to! It was never yours to carry! Create a solid foundation with Christ; because even your BFF or Family can get too caught up with life; to be there for you while you are silently drowning... The Lord is the one who is with you always; and is ready for you to come running to him with open arms! Sincerely, The Anointed Prodigal Unlearning toxic behaviors & generational patterns.
Unhealthy relationships… No longer on the radar. Becoming less of what this world accepts. Discomfort takes a hold; as I embrace who I was meant to be… Unpacking trauma, depression, anxiety & everything that had its hold on me! On a mission for overall Peace & Joy; in the midst of a broken world. You laugh in mockery; but I smile because my goal is attainable, and can only be found in Christ the Lord! - S.Q.S (O.W.V) Dear Fellow Kings & Queens:
Each Moment… Breathe… Second… Are all a part of what’s to come! The wounds that still consume us; will be a “missing link” for someone else who is struggling on a similar path. Let’s RISE UP from the ongoing war within! Some of us struggle and can’t get past the “wounded child” within… Most of us have been operating through “autopilot.” and not fully living in our Kingdom Purpose. Every Pain, Tear, Betrayal, Love, Lost are all a part of a bigger plan! Keeping our focus on the Spiritual Foundation, that carries us through the storms, and gives us PEACE that can not be found. So let’s adjust our crowns accordingly and EMBRACE the obstacles ahead; as we are created into the WARRIORS we were meant to be all along! Sincerely, The Anointed Prodigal |
