Resilience

Everyone wants to wear the “Resilience Badge,” but no one wants to go through the hell that it takes to obtain resilience. 

Mental health stigma; judgment at its finest! 

Not knowing that a lot of us with some type of mental health disorder, also struggle with childhood trauma connected to one's story.

Resilience! We are the ones who struggle daily with our Mental Health; we are the true definition of resilience!

Recovery! It is all good and well for those who have struggled with alcohol and drugs; but when it comes to Mental Health it's like a plague that just can't be touched!

Ability! We, who struggle on a regular basis with what comes naturally for others; continue the journey that is paved ahead of us, and have a strength that no one will ever truly understand.

Fight! One can try their hardest to cut back on what is needed, support and resources are in the balance, we are just like anyone else who is struggling in this broken world. We have a big God; he's bigger than anyone who has hatred or greed in their heart. An ultimate war that has already been won!

Resilience at its finest! So, think twice the next time you treat one of my kind as if you're better and bigger, because we are in an army with the Lord on our side!
