Dear Jesus,
As I am sitting here writing to you, so many thoughts consume my mind. (but you know that) I have faith when it comes to who you are and what you are capable of, but I still struggle with how you see me! (Your Precious, Anointed, Beautiful, Strong Warrior) I still operate as though I were that broken girl who did not believe others loved or believed in her abilities. As a result, this “broken girl” always strives beyond her own ability when it comes to others. I “come off” more put together than I truly am at times; and I can admit that I am NOT a fan of this “messy middle” version of myself. Vulnerability so raw it cuts some people in the process! Laser-focused on the path instead of keeping my focus on you. My apologies Lord! Where I am weak... You are STRONG! The strength, skills, gifts, and beauty others see is not me at all, but only a glimpse of who you truly are! Please continue to help me heal; and fight the lies of others who claim that I am anything less than who you say I am! Fearfully & Wonderfully-Made! A Royal Priesthood! Anointed, Loved, Redeemed, & Chosen... & so much more! Please help me operate as such in this new season that I have entered! Please continue to give me eyes that see and ears that hear! (Less of me & more of you) Thank you for loving, guiding, and using me as a vessel! Using my trials and storms as a blueprint for others. Using my overall pain for good and purpose! Growth and becoming who I was meant to be before this world got the best of me. Renewal of the mind, and holding on to your hand, as my family and I have entered a season of Promise & Purpose! Thank you for this honor to bring your lost children back to you! Thank you for all that you have done; and all that you will do! (All Glory to God) Thank you for being the Great “I AM,” Jehovah & Jireh! In Jesus name I pray Amen!

Many of us walk around consumed by this broken world…
We tend to hold on to the familiar; instead of igniting enough courage to explore life outside of our comfort zones. Some of us attach education as an optional path; but the times we are in, it is required to be woke to what is in front of our very own eyes! Obtaining the required information and being equipped for what is ahead! Applying and identifying who we are outside of the lies we have held on to… We must Educate, Equip, and Operate in our true Identities! Being active and a blessing to one another; even in the midst of our own storms! It truly is not just about us; a lie society has driven into our souls! We are the church; and renewal of the mind & heart is where one would start first. Educate… Equip… Operate… Dear Isolated One,
This season seems to be more heavy than anticipated... You went from having many friends & family, to barely a handful of either! Jobs, opportunities, and relationships used to be something that came natural, but lately have become scarce. Isolation at its finest! Needing(not wanting) a soul to relate or rely on, trying to cope or ground in something to keep your sanity! Everyone caught up in their own storms & trials... In your own space; feeling as if no one cares, or has the time to spare! Some of your loved ones are too consumed by the titles, status, and money they are chasing. Now more than ever you need someone to hear and validate your current emotions, but no one seems to have the capacity to be there! All hope is not lost! You are not alone! The Lord hears & sees all; and has to allow the unimaginable things to transpire, to ignite the growth that otherwise would have lay dormant within you. Christ is near and never left your side, he's waiting patiently for you to bring your burdens to him! He loves you so much that he gave up his own life so you can have yours! Not just in this broken world, but in the paradise that awaits us after we take our last breath. We must be more aware of his presence now more than ever! The Lord advocates, fights, loves, and protects us on all levels! If you are currently isolated my child, the Lord wants your attention.... He has plans for you; and your next season of victory cannot be accomplished with the people, places, & things that you continue to hold on to! Let go my child; and hold on to the Lord now more than ever! For he's working behind the scenes; so activate your faith for what's ahead! You are being pruned & equipped to handle what is attached to the prayers that you have prayed every night! Remain steadfast and pray for spiritual endurance in this season; because his timing is not ours, and his plans, ways, & victories are much bigger than what we plan or accomplish on our own! "Go back to what makes you feel good!" the devil whispers. The Lord reminds you that we must break out of our comfort zones; in order to become who we were truly meant to be before the damage was done. "You are a Child of God! Fearfully & Wonderfully Made! You are MORE than a Conqueror! A ROYAL Priesthood! A CITIZEN of Heaven!" Claim these words instead; and let the love of the Father renew & heal what has been tainted! My child! Just remember this one last thing... Isolation comes before elevation! With Christ's Love, Your Sister in Christ:) Memories of the good and bad floods my mind consistently!
Everyone wants to wear the “Resilience Badge,” but no one wants to go through the hell that it takes to obtain resilience.
Mental health stigma; judgment at its finest! Not knowing that a lot of us with some type of mental health disorder, also struggle with childhood trauma connected to one's story. Resilience! We are the ones who struggle daily with our Mental Health; we are the true definition of resilience! Recovery! It is all good and well for those who have struggled with alcohol and drugs; but when it comes to Mental Health it's like a plague that just can't be touched! Ability! We, who struggle on a regular basis with what comes naturally for others; continue the journey that is paved ahead of us, and have a strength that no one will ever truly understand. Fight! One can try their hardest to cut back on what is needed, support and resources are in the balance, we are just like anyone else who is struggling in this broken world. We have a big God; he's bigger than anyone who has hatred or greed in their heart. An ultimate war that has already been won! Resilience at its finest! So, think twice the next time you treat one of my kind as if you're better and bigger, because we are in an army with the Lord on our side! Be Still…
Things are getting real; and some of us are past discomfort. Some of us have completely waived our white flags and are just caught up in our own worlds for the time being. Some of us operate out of fear and anxiety of what is around us and what's to come… Get angry! Let your voice be heard! But let's stop letting our emotions dictate our next moves. We have every right to feel what we feel! We have every right to demand justice! Our actions become destructive instead of productive when we don't take the time to be still. Sit still in our Father's presence; he knows us better than we do. He knows our strengths and weaknesses, as well as how we can contribute to what has unfolded in front of our very eyes. We were all created for this moment in time; and have the weapons that will speak louder than any protest known to mankind. Let's be still in the Lord's presence… Let's be guided by our Father instead of our flesh & circumstances. Let us grow closer to the one who has the wisdom and power; to completely shut down the ones who are trying to oppress others! Let's be educated, equipped, & operate through the one who stands next to us, as well as ahead of us. Let us be the true WARRIORS we were meant to be all along! Dear Frenemy,
Here we go again! The tug of war that has been the dynamic of our relationship. One minute I'm consumed by the past, and put into a box that you and society have created… The next moment; I am reminded who I truly am in Christ, and the box has been demolished into pieces, and becomes nothing but a faint memory. Placing people into my life to distract me on the path that lies ahead! Old wounds resurface; and those who don't wish me well, come in and out of my life, but only to monitor and drain what little energy that is within me. At times; I feel empowered by the Love, Mercy, and Power of my Lord and Savior! For choosing an underdog like myself, who has been consistently rejected by loved ones, and embraced by enemies! I see your slick moves and head games that you play, frenemy of mine! However, I tend to keep falling into your traps, but learning to not dwell as long, remembering who's by my side through it all! Little to no support in the flesh; good move there! But I am beyond grateful for the support and love that I do have, and an Almighty Father who always provides higher and bigger than we could ever imagine! We do this dance on a regular basis; which I thank you for, because it is a platform for Endurance and Strength. As the attacks keep coming, I will eventually no longer be phased by you! So I guess I would like to say thank you frenemy of mine! For all the lies, betrayal, deceit, pain, and loss… Because at the end of the tug-of-war we do oh-so-well; there will be a Stronger, Disciplined, and Wiser Warrior. Who has the One (destroyer of souls and flesh) right beside me, smiling as your days are literally numbered! Not yours for long, Warrior-In-The-Making AKA Anointed Prodigal :) Here I sit in the beauty of your presence!
Unconditional love; not even close to what others are capable of! Meeting your children right where we are; no prerequisites needed, loving on all of us in the midst of us feeling defeated! What we see is nothing compared to what is unseen by our natural eyes. Others hold on to temporal things, and your children are holding on to you, our Eternity! Equipping us with the Armor of God; identity in you, and special gifts that are meant to bless others, as well as part of the weapons to defeat what is not of you! True identity, purpose, and worth can only be found in you! Peace, Justice, Love, Mercy, and Kindness… A quarter of who you truly are! Out here using others to heal and bind the wounded; while your rebellious children out here using others for their own agendas. Acting out from childhood trauma’s… Then it's you that gets blamed; but it's really Free Will that is at the reins! Thank you for all that you are; and what you continue to do through your children. Naysayers are going to keep running their mouths, but the day you return all knees will bow down! Dear Present Self,
I am so proud of you! I mean really look at who you were 2-3 years ago, you are not the same person! I know that you struggle with this concept most of the time; and the people from your past recirculate to remind you of who you used to be, but that is no longer the case! You have grown weary of the things and people that used to give you pleasure; and have matured to a new level and understanding of life and yourself. The awareness of needing a spiritual foundation and to overall be healthy on all levels, that is major growth all by itself! My dear, you are now in the messy middle and it feels like you haven’t moved much in this life, since you have decided that you wanted purpose and to be changed. It’s a pace child! Not a sprint, and you are going the speed that is necessary for your journey, and for change to be a lifestyle vs a temporary state of mind. Stop comparing yourself to others; what is meant for you, you will not have to chase, beg, or change for it! We are all on different paths, unique personalities, and gifts that were meant to be blessings to others. (Stop dwelling on what was and what is not, let’s focus more on the present!) You are unconditionally Loved by the Father! Even though your family did not know how to love you. You are Victorious! Even though you feel like you’re far behind and barely keeping up. You are a Warrior! Even though you feel defeated most of the time. This too shall pass; and all things work together for the good. Stay focused on the present moment. Armor up for the trials and life lessons. Realize you are Protected, Loved, and Wonderfully made; despise your current circumstance, you are not alone! With Love, Your Sis in Christ |
